Hi

I am a queer, Mexican American futurist writer, educator & cultural organizer of 16+ years. The co-founder and former director of MassLEAP, a spoken word & social justice organization in Boston, as well as several other justice oriented, literary collectives & programs, I curate accessible spaces & strategies using art towards the purpose of collective liberation. I strive to write the people I love into the future and organize alongside them. As an educator, I provide students with the tools, structure, and freedom to rigorously explore, create and share the questions most important to them and their communities. Whether through writing, teaching or organizing, my work is focused on bringing people together to strategically imagine new structures and ways of being in relationship to oneself, one another and the world around us. Currently, I am pursuing an M.Ed at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
